Paulo Arranaga-Grayson is a grateful member of Crystal Meth Anonymous. What started as a search for freedom from addiction became a life beyond anything he could have imagined. Paulo has long-term sobriety and is active in the Los Angeles recovery community. He has served as Entertainment Chair, Fundraising Chair, and Executive Secretary for the Los Angeles Crystal Meth Anonymous Convention Committee, and currently holds several service positions in both Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA). Recognizing the importance of carrying the message beyond the rooms, Paulo is also involved with Best in Drag Show, a fundraising event benefiting Alliance for Housing and Healing, which raises critical funds for HIV/AIDS services in Los Angeles. Professionally, he serves as Co-Founder of No Matter What Recovery, an LGBTQ+ affirming behavioral healthcare organization providing substance use and mental health treatment in Los Angeles, Chicago, and soon Austin, Texas. Of all the roles he’s been fortunate enough to hold, the one he treasures most is simply “recovering addict.” Paulo believes that everything meaningful in his life is a direct result of recovery, and he is honored to share the experience, strength, and hope that was so freely given to him.

Common Ground

PREMIUM PAD - Temor + Moe

No matter how much time you have, where you came from, or what your story looks like—we all start on the exact same level. To kick off the weekend, everyone is dropping the pretense and stepping into the circle together. This interactive opening session is a powerful, visual reminder that we are never as alone as our disease wants us to think. Come ready to look around, connect with the room, and set the baseline for a transformative weekend.

9:00AM

Stickman - The Cycle of Addiction

PREMIUM PAD - Sam T + Sam C

Addiction has a way of trapping us in the exact same loops of thoughts, behaviors, and consequences. In this interactive session, we use the "Stick Man" visual model to map out how these repetitive patterns work—and, more importantly, how to break them. Join us to share your experience, dissect the cycle, and leave with practical actions to disrupt the patterns keeping you stuck.

Sexual Recovery Blueprint

ROOM TBD - Mell M.

This is a workshop designed to support individuals in recovery who are rebuilding intimacy and sexual identity after addiction. Participants will explore what sexual recovery means to them and find ways to overcome obstacles and reconnect with pleasure and eroticism that is safe, sane, and sober. This is a safe empowering space that will foster healing, initiate self discovery, and help people develop tools to reignite passion and reclaim desire in fulfilling and meaningful ways.

Finding YOUR Higher Power

ROOM TBD - Sean G. + Will L.

What do you actually want your Higher Power to look like? If you’ve struggled to connect with Step Two or Three, you are far from alone. Join us for an interactive session where we strip away the "shoulds" and share our real, messy struggles—and ultimate breakthroughs—in finding a spiritual connection that actually works. Through creative exercises and open discussion, you’ll explore the specific qualities you need in a power greater than yourself, entirely on your own terms. Come curious, leave connected.

Double Winners: Turning a Dual Diagnosis into Experience, Strength, and Hope

ROOM TBD - A'ishah A. + Timmy M.

Join us for a discussion on navigating recovery with a dual mental health diagnosis: from the high highs to the low lows, when the Steps can’t fix everything, and when an ‘outside issue’ is a central theme in your recovery journey.

10:15AM

We Are Where We're Supposed to Be

ROOM TBD - Kimberly G.

Acceptance isn't passive—it’s a structure we build every single day. This session takes the willingness of Step 3 and anchors it with the daily maintenance and meditation of Step 11. We’ll look at how to stop fighting reality, process the weight of our past, and tap into a deeper spiritual connection that gives us the strength to move forward.

From Reaction to Response – Mastering the ABCDE Tool

ROOM TBD - C.J. Clarence Syas Jr.

Pause the panic and bridge the gap between trigger and reaction. Join us for a hands-on walk-through of the ABCDE cognitive tool. You’ll learn how to break down emotional triggers, dispute irrational self-talk, and choose empowering responses in high-stress moments. Perfect for anyone looking to build emotional sobriety and daily resilience.

Jump in the Line!

ROOM TBD - Brandon P. + Gabriel V.

Addiction isolates us through our differences; recovery heals us through our shared truths. Drawing from lived experience getting sober young and navigating life as young LGBTQ+ people in recovery, this session blends story with a dynamic group exercise. Together, we’ll dismantle the barriers of "terminal uniqueness," celebrate our intersecting identities, and highlight the common denominators that prove no one has to walk this path alone.

Loving Detachment: Friends, Family, and Relapse

ROOM TBD - Don J. + Glenn H.

What do you do when the friends you got sober with go back out? Recovery changes our social circles, and learning how to draw healthy lines with people we love is some of the hardest work we do. This session bridges traditional Al-Anon principles with the real-world challenge of navigating codependency and shifting friendships. Come learn how to support others without getting dragged down by their chaos.

The 4th Step: Clearing the Slate

ROOM TBD - Rob + Justin

Let’s be real—the fourth step can feel daunting, but it isn’t meant to be a shame spiral or a list of your worst moments. It’s a tool for absolute freedom. This workshop breaks down how to approach your written inventory with radical honesty, helping you uncover the exact blocks and resentments that keep you stuck. Come learn how to take ownership of your past without letting it define your future.

Spiritual Ego & Service Boundaries

ROOM TBD - John G. + Nick G.

Service keeps us sober, but unchecked, it can easily feed our egos or lead to total burnout. In this session, we dive into the pitfalls that creep up in long-term recovery. We’ll look at what happens when we try to manage everyone else's program instead of our own, and map out clear, practical boundaries to keep our service work healthy, humble, and sustainable.

Resonate Within: A Body Scan Sound Journey

ROOM TBD - Healing Time Coaching and Consulting

Reconnect mind, body, and spirit through the power of sound and somatic awareness. In this restorative session, guided body scanning meets therapeutic soundscapes to clear nervous system clutter, release held tension, and open up space for deep internal peace. No experience necessary—just bring an open mind and a willingness to rest.

Spiritual Deconstruction: Unpacking the Wounds

ROOM TBD - Madi S.

It is hard to find a Higher Power when the language of faith has been weaponized against us. In this session, we confront religious trauma head-on. We’ll look at how spiritual conditioning impacts our emotional sobriety and share concrete tools to heal the fear and guilt left behind. Come discover how to drop the rules that broke you and build a genuine, authentic pathway to awakening.

2:15PM

Spiritual Soundtracks

ROOM TBD - Skye H. + Cash G.

This workshop explores how music can deepen your connection to your spirituality by creating space for reflection, healing, and personal growth. Through meaningful songs, guided listening, and group discussion, participants will discover how music can inspire hope, strengthen faith, and foster a deeper sense of peace and connection.

The Long Road Back: Coming Back from Chronic Relapse

ROOM TBD - Kyle I.

Coming back from chronic relapse? Overcome the shame and guilt of relapse, rebuild resilience and new self-esteem, and evolve your personal recovery.

Flip the Script: Defects, Assets, and Daily Action

ROOM TBD - Jason D.

What does it look like to achieve emotional sobriety? What are the obstacles holding you back? Are there character defects that are affecting your peace of mind? Let’s use steps 6 and 7 in a way that can take the power out of our defects and place it in a higher power that can right-size them in a way to make them helpful to you and your fellows. We’ll map this out together and learn to become more free.

Finding Straight Lines in a Circle

ROOM TBD - Brandon S.

Ever feel like you’re doing all the work, but life still feels messy and out of balance? This workshop breaks down the three pillars of a complete program—Recovery, Unity, and Service—and looks honestly at what happens when things get lopsided. We’ll talk about how to find your center, step away from just surviving, and tap into the "Fourth Dimension" of real freedom.
